Hi Jack... Just an update on Lea's wife... She finally got home from the extended stay for rehab at Care One in Ewing on this last Saturday. On Monday morning she fell in their bedroom and broke her hip. They were able to put a pin in at R.W.J. Hamilton and today she was transferred back to Care One for rehab. again. I hope to get out to see her by the end of the week.

I WILL BE BRINGING A PLEASANT HALF HOUR OR SO OF MY "WHEN MUSIC WAS MUSIC" PROGRAM TO THE 65TH REUNIONS OF BOTH TRENTON HIGH AT THE TRENTON COUNTRY CLUB, AND HAMILTON HIGH AT A NEW RESTAURANT ON ROUTE 33 HERE IN HAMILTON. THESE FOLKS ARE CARD CARRYING MEMBERS OF "THE GREATEST GENERATION", AND I WILL BE BRINGING THE MUSIC OF THE WWII ERA ALONG WITH SONGS FROM THE EARLY 50'S, WHEN MUSIC WAS MUSIC, BEFORE THE ARRIVAL OF THE NOISE WE STILL HEAR TODAY. ONCE AGAIN WE WILL REMEMBER THE SONGS OF PATTI PAGE, PERRY COMO, GLENN MILLER, JO STAFFORD.

1944: TRENTON CATHOLIC BOYS' HIGH SCHOOL
I'M INCLUDING TRENTON CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL ON THIS HHS WEBSITE BECAUSE THEY WERE SUCH FORMIDABLE OPPONENTS IN EVERY HIGH SCHOOL SPORTS COMPETITION. PICTURED ARE THOSE TRENTON CATHOLIC GUYS WHOM I GOT TO KNOW FROM THE CLASS OF '44. I FREQUENTLY SEE JIM WEIGAND AT KUSER PARK. HANK LIEDTKA AND HIS FAMILY WERE PART OF MY OLD NEIGHBORHOOD, AND OF COURSE, WE ALL KNOW FRANNY MCMANIMON.
